TERMS AND CONDITIONS POLICY

Responsibilities of the Buyer:

  1. Payment:
    The buyer is responsible for paying for the parrot and any associated shipping fees.

  2. Supervision:
    The buyer agrees to provide proper supervision and not allow the parrot outdoors without adequate supervision to ensure its safety.

  3. Humane Care:
    The buyer commits to caring for the parrot in a humane manner, including providing appropriate food, water, shelter, attention, and necessary medical care.

  4. Guarantee and Liability:
    The buyer understands that the seller provides guarantees about the parrot’s health and temperament at the time of sale but is not liable for future damages or injuries caused by the parrot.

  5. Monitoring:
    The seller has the right to contact the buyer periodically to ensure that the parrot is being treated and cared for properly.

Seller’s Guarantees:

  1. Health and Registration:
    The seller guarantees the parrot’s sound health and provides necessary registration paperwork for local Kennel Club registration.

  2. Temperament:
    The seller ensures that the parrot has a great temperament at the time of sale.

  3. Health Records:
    The seller provides a detailed health record of all vaccinations and worming treatments administered to the parrot.

Physical Examination and Refund:

  1. Veterinary Examination:
    The buyer agrees to take the parrot to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery for a thorough physical examination.

  2. Refund Policy:
    If the licensed veterinarian determines that the parrot has health issues caused by the seller, the buyer can return the parrot for a full refund, with the seller covering the return expenses.

Buyer’s Options and Responsibilities:

  1. Rehoming Option:
    If the buyer needs to give up the parrot, the seller should be notified first, giving them the first option to resume full ownership and find a new home for the parrot.

  2. Money-Back Guarantee:
    The buyer has a 30-day money-back guarantee, with a full refund if they are not satisfied with the parrot or have difficulties bonding with it.

  3. Transfer Approval:
    The breeder/seller reserves the right to approve or prohibit any transfer of the parrot to a third party.

  4. Prohibited Facilities:
    The parrot should not be sold, leased, traded, or given to any pet shop, research laboratory, animal shelter, or similar facility without the seller’s explicit consent.
